The Public Comment Period for the Concept Designs was completed on the 30th November 2010. Comments were provided by email, a website forum, meetings and the Community Information Night. Thank you to everyone who have provided feedback on the Concept Designs. A summary of the key themes with responses are available in the library section of the Ellenbrook Open Space online forum. Please watch this space for future updates and further opportunities to be involved in this project.

The DOS site is an integrated community hub which will provide physical, emotional and social benefits and contribute to the existing culture of physical participation in Ellenbrook Place. The DOS will be the focal point for active sport and passive recreational opportunities by co-locating facilities such as playing fields, practise nets, picnic areas, youth facilities and path networks.

New Youth Centre about to be built in Ballajura!

New Youth Centre about to be built in Ballajura!

Do you live in Ballajura? Are you under 18? Did you know a BRAND NEW YOUTH CENTRE is being built next the library & skate park?!

This is a youth centre for 12-17 year olds in Ballaz. We want to make sure you like it, and that you feel comfortable going there when it finally opens next year. To do that we need you to tell us what you think. You won't always agree with each other, and sometimes we might need to vote to make a decision. But the most important thing is that YOU - Ballajura's young people, are making decisions about this centre.  You can see the design, read about the centre and tell us what you think here http://swancommunity.com.au/ballayouthcentre

The City of Swan is committed to hearing and including you thoughts and ideas on future options for the centre and welcomes your comments and ideas in our online discussion forum.
