Have your say abot the proposed North East Sports & Exhibition Centre!
The proposed NESEC forms part of the Ellenbrook Recreation Hub (Ellenbrook DOS) located off Bordeaux Lane in Ellenbrook.
The City has undergone a Study to determine the feasibility of a Sports and Exhibition Facility at the Ellenbrook Recreation Hub. Concept designs and cost estimates have been prepared as part of the Study and will be used to apply for external funding.
The proposed NESEC is reliant on recieving funding from the State and Federal Government and aims to have the following features:
- 3x Multipurpose indoor sports courts
- Meeting/activity space
- Retractable seating studio & performance and exhibition space for over 1,000 people
- Health & Fitness areas
- Youth Space
- Child Friendly Space
- Communtiy Meeting/Function Rooms
- Community Office Space

NESEC aims to cater for a number of community needs identified within the Ellenbrook Public Open Space and Community Facilities Strategy. The facility is designed to be multi-purpose with flexibility to adapt to changing trends over time.
