    Proposed Amendment No.121 to the City's Local Planning Scheme is intended to allow for a multi-unit residential development to occur at the rear of the Guildford Hotel site.

    We invite you to have your say on the Proposed Amendment to the City's Local Planning Scheme No 17 until December 2, 2014.

    During the Ordinary Council Meeting on the 18th December 2013 the Community Safety Plan 2014-2018 was endorsed. This plan will guide City actions and priorities related to Community Safety over the next four years. The Plan has four key focus areas which are described as:

     Measures to detect and deter crime, Measures to address the underlying causes of crime, Addressing safety issues related to personal and community responsibility in local neighbourhoods, Increased coordination and responsiveness of agencies to address Community Safety.

    Thanks to the many City staff, councillors, residents, business owners and other stakeholders who contributed to the plans development.

    We're planning to revitalise the park and create a functional and attractive outdoor leisure and recreation space with a vibrant connection to the community. We are keen to involve you, your family, friends and neighbours with an interest in the park.
