Being a city employee and working in all areas of the city, sometimes restricts my use of the gym. It would be much nicer if employees who work in all areas of the city were able to access both Altone and Swan Leisure centres with one membership. This would help in regards to going to the gym that is closer to the area you are working at on any particular day.

having a bus that actually dropped of at the door would save time in walking from morrison road and a membership that covered both is an excellent idea. Also saturday and sunday afternoons is a nightmare to work out when swan park is open.

The leisure centre is a long way from central Midland. I often have to ferry my son up there to and back from indoor football.

Same goes for tennis; Paterson Drive is miles away. Midland Oval should get back tennis courts and perhaps bowling again.

Central location of Midland Oval is ideal; close to trains and bus station.

Having physical limitations i do not have access to the pool areas that i would like to use. I use the senior water areobics area wich i enjoy but i have to walk through babie/school groups to enter and leave the pool often doging them during the class or on the step area or having to struggle over ropes that are dangerous to someone like me. The spa is not accessible because it is a ladder to get in and out off but would it be of great benefit if access was better. One disabled toilet shower for the center more…

I find the fact that the one-stop-shop approach to sports facilities in Midland has merit. However, Patterson Drive needs to be linked directly to the rest of the facilities for this to work.

If there was better public transport to link the facility to central Midland, say extending the free shopping centre shuttle, the facilities would be used more. Alternatively move the pool and rec centre back to the Midland Oval site and develop the Riverside Park to have more Sports Ovals.

Swan Park is boring compared to others like Bayswater waves and ones even further away. We'd love to go to our local for school holiday fun.

There is a very limited range of sport opportunities for kids of all ages. Some classes the age rage is too big so you have 5 year olds playing ball games with 10 year olds. Not safe, really.

I would like to be able to have my kids (age over 6 so too big for creche) sit and read or draw or play games in an area next to the gym where I can exercise for an hour while being able to supervise them. Otherwise my exercise options are very limited during school holidays (walking or riding at their pace is too slow). Because I suffer from depression, I need to keep up my exercise for more reasons than most. If I could swim laps while they entertained themselves next to the pool that would be great too.
