Basically Caitlen and Tristan said it all. Security and cleaning should be of higher upmost importance.
It is extremely unfortunate that this area is known for it's riff raff, drug problems, aboriginal issues etc. We feel that this needs to be done all the time, to ensure that the children that are enjoying themselves, and the parents dont get harmed in anyway way.

All parks have riff raff and nothing can be done about it.
The shire needs to maintain the parkland, which is in our rates anyway, and parents also need to check before their kids go and play.
This is just standard safety, that i even check when just walking my son on the oval with the dogs where theres no play equipment at all.

Cycle paths, specifically connecting to Swan Valley - Guildford cycle shared path. Also a place to securely lock cycles.
Water fountains that provide "cold" drinking water
Shade for play and seating areas via trees or other source
Free use of BBQs
Toilet facilities
Regular visits from local gov. security/rangers to increase feeling of safety and security.
Native trees and plants.
Information/Education Notices (graffitti resistant) to educate people about the area, similar to those found around Guildford/Midland regarding history/heritage of the area.
